Description:

In this challenge, you will complete a daily journal recording your daily efforts to set and achieve a goal. Following the 7-day challenge, write a one-page summary of your experiences and hand both your journal and experience summary in.

Along with your own personal goals, you are tasked with LISTENING and NOTETAKING for the podcast titled ‘The Slight Edge’ By Jeff Olsen.

This unit focuses on ways to make effective decisions, researching thoroughly and effectively and achieving success. Therefore, I believe it is key to make use of other people’s knowledge about these topics in order to learn about the kinds of strategies that may be of use to you in achieving success academically and in your own career(s).

Instructions:

1. A) Using what you have learned about goal-setting, choose a goal to accomplish for each of the next 7 days.

B) In order to begin listening to THE SLIGHT EDGE you will need to access the internet. Once you are on the internet, you will need to use SOUNDCLOUD, a free application where you can listen to music and other kinds of auditory materials. Once on SOUNDCLOUD please search for ‘THE SLIGHT EDGE’ by JEFF OLSEN. This podcast has been downloaded by many people, you can choose the first option that appears.
